It's almost time to say farewell to another year and hello to a new one! Before we wipe our slates clean in preparation - here are some highlights from 2017 that we're extremely proud of.

Tie Dye SHAG 

We kicked the year off on a vibrant and colorful note by experimenting with tie dye! This collaboration with @tiedyequeen was a huge success! From SHAGbomb Jackets, to the Lady Duffel and SHAGPacks. We used the hand-dyed fabric on almost all of our products and stained them into a traditional rainbow tie dye, which we coined, "SF" for "San Francisco." Next we took a green, red and yellow for rasta colors which we named, "Kingston," and then a yellow to purple ombre, which we named "Sunset Mojave." 

Featured On Yahoo! Style's "Look At Me With Joe Zee"

Such a treat to be walking down the street only to be spotted by the one and only Joe Zee! Fashion comes and goes, but style last forever. Scope out our featured look on Yahoo! Snoop Dogg Receives Mojave SHAGBomb Jacket

A Mojave Sunset fit for a king a.k.a. Snoop Dogg. We had the pleasure of giving Snoop Dogg a Sunset Mojave SHAGBomb Jacket to match his Queen Tote. If that doesn't say "BOSS" all over it, I don't know what else will. 

SHAGBAGG Pop-Up On Abbot Kinney Blvd.

SHAGBAGG was featured in a pop up on GQ’s “Most Popular Street in America” - Abbot Kinney Blvd. This pop-up lasted a total of two months in collaboration with other independent brands on the West Side.

New product means new promotions and campaigns! This year we really upped our game with video content by producing clips premiering new items in a bold, fun and colorful light.

Official SHAGBomb Collection Launch

We get by with a little help from our friends! In order to officially launch the SHAGBomb Collection, we had planned to hold an event on June 5th at The Nest located in Venice Beach, CA.  However we didn’t realize that day fell on the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. What better way to premier our new collection than pair it with the commemoration of our favorite rock album of the 1960's!

Hand-Dyed Indigo SHAG

Indigo. Love the way it rolls off the tongue. This summer, we hand-dyed indigo SHAG to launch a new collection of products which solely featured indigo fabric. These items ranged from the SHAGBomb Jacket to the Queen Tote. Our Indigo Collection sold out almost immediately! Needless to say, more indigo SHAG items to come in 2018!

SHAG Joggers

With the launch of our Indigo collection came the birth of a new product -- SHAG Joggers! Such a fun twist on running pants and super comfy too! The SHAG Joggers are available by request only until their official release in 2018.

SHAGBAGG Goes To NYC | Artists & Fleas SoHo Edition

NYC or Bust! This fall marked SHAGBAGG’s first time in New York City as part of an ongoing pop-up located in the heart of SoHo with local favorite Artists & Fleas. 

New Flagship Location | Amiga Collective In Venice

Wrapping up the year on a good note with a new flagship located in Venice Beach, CA. This flagship is a part of the Amiga Collective located at 2124 Lincoln Blvd.

What To Look Forward To In 2018

New year means new products! Expect an array of new items coming in 2018 ranging from a SHAG-Kono (Kimono), to the SHAG Trench and SHAG Triangle Tops for festival season (Coachella will be around the corner soon enough). And of course...stay tuned for lots of SHAG Parties! The more the merrier, eh?
