2017 was a year. Here are the ten moments that made it unforgettable.
We kicked the year off in full color — a collaboration with the Tie Dye Queen that produced some of the most sought-after pieces in SHAG history. SF rainbow, Kingston rasta, Sunset Mojave ombré. Each one hand-dyed, each one one of a kind.
Walking down the street and ending up on Yahoo Style is the kind of thing that happens when you wear SHAG loud enough. We were featured in Joe Zee's street style series — a genuine pinch-yourself moment.
Abbot Kinney Boulevard — GQ's Coolest Street in America — became SHAG territory for a month. Our first pop-up at The Nest introduced SHAG to the Venice Beach community and started something special.
We threw our own party at The Nest. Cordell Broadus, brand ambassador Aneesah Moore, friends, family, and a room full of SHAG.
We came back to Abbot Kinney for a second residency with a Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band-themed launch party. Live band. Photo booth. Groovy vibes.
A shoot in Downtown L.A. that captured what SHAG is really about — handcrafted in the city, worn on its streets, proud of where it comes from.
Model Sofia Arellano took SHAG to the Silver Lake Stairs with photographer Tommy Lundberg, surrounded by Geronimo Balloons. The photos were magic.
A shoot that captured the soul of the brand — the colors, the freedom, the retro-inspired energy SHAG was always built around.
We designed an extra-large Sunset Ombré SHAGBomb Jacket for Snoop Dogg to match the Queen Tote he'd already claimed. Snoop in custom SHAG is exactly as good as it sounds.
Artist Matty Mo painted a series of houses hot pink before demolition. We shot our entire new apparel collection there. One of the most visually striking shoots we've ever done.
2017 was the year SHAG went from a brand people knew to a brand people felt. Here's to building on it.
